About

The bulk of my professional experience has been in web and intranet design, development, administration, and content production.

After earning my B.S. in Technical Communication from Northeastern University, my appreciation for the value of meaningful communication between user and computer led me to pursue my M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University.

My graduate research interests included: computer-supported collaborative learning and the use of technology to improve learning environments; discovering ways that ubiquitous computing technologies might be applied to improve human life quality; finding novel ways to help people visualize information; and using interactive systems to influence people’s attitudes and behaviors in positive ways.

Moving forward professionally, I am looking for opportunities to apply proven HCI methods to usability analysis or user experience research.
